Ask Jeeves

Originally founded as Ask Jeeves, the question-and-answer basedweb search engine sought to examine the equity of the "Jeeves" character as part of a complete global repositioning strategy.Ideation studies explored moving away from the gentleman’s valet,but focus groups objected and rallied against his retirement. Jeeves was saved and given a well-deserved makeover. The finalrendering was preserved until the company officially transitioned into Ask.com.
